Membership Services:
Financial assistance from the BAPN towards the cost of educational activities may be available to paediatric nephrology trainees. Such activities could include trainees presenting at a meeting, attending a meeting or course of appropriate educational value to training, or visiting another centre to learn research techniques. The educational support grant would supplement local funding if the costs incurred are in excess of local funding available.
Application should be made to the BAPN Research Secretary and copied to the BAPN Treasurer. The application should be supported in writing by the local paediatric nephrologist supervising training. Successful applicants will be notified by the BAPN Treasurer of the amount awarded. Travel costs will be reimbursed on submission of the relevant original receipts to the BAPN Treasurer.
