About the unit:
The Children's Renal & Urology Unit is based at the QMC Campus, Nottingham University Hospitals and serves a population of 6 million including the old Trent and North Anglia regions. Regional shared care clinics are held in Sheffield, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Derby, Leicester, Peterborough, Cambridge, Norwich, King's Lynn, Boston and Lincoln.
The Unit offers comprehensive services for acute and chronic renal problems including laparoscopic live donor kidney donation.
The Unit has won several awards for innovation including haemofiltration and youth work support.
